Not all wedding packages are alike, in fact, none are. Some include coordination, some don’t. Some include photography, other’s don’t. Some include minister charges, while others may list a minister in a package, but charge extra or require that you “tip” the minister after the wedding with tips sometimes up to $200! Other’s include a venue or a permit to use a public space, while these services are often not included. Other packages include music, but is it live or is it music played on a portable stereo? If it includes a musician, make sure the musician is worth paying for! So, basically, if you make sure you examine your package carefully, confirm that each service promised is outlined and vividly described in the package with full disclosure, and ask for an “absolute final price,” you will, hopefully, not have any surprises down the road.
